America got it right. Matt is an excellent singer...but didn't seem as confident in his talent and himself as the others. I am hoping he finds good success regardless of this outcome and of course wish him all the best!

I thought Matt's performance last night was much better than tonight. I've felt he should have been gone weeks ago. I can just imagine how the judges, and Adam, were feeling when he was in the bottom 2. "Holy cow!"
On another note. I'm so tired of the judges, especially Paula, telling whoever is leaving that this is "just the first step to a great career", or whatever blather she spouts. It is so far from the truth. It would be interesting to go back and see who all she told it to, and where they are now. We will never hear from most of these people ever again. Maybe she's just placating them. I just wish it would stop! On to next week!
